Adaptation based on Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare

Inspired by my family member's near-fatal experience with shamanistic medicine and the rising environmental crisis around Mekong river that expands from China through Southeast Asia, this project explores the issues the through the lens of the relationship between a city teen outsider and a local youth. Romance and tragedy develops amidst animism and apotropaic magic in Northeastern Thailand.
