Turpentine depicts a complex relationship between a brother and a sister who have grown apart over the years, having to face each other again after the passing of their mother. The story takes place in their childhood home that is being packed up, where they rediscover several shared memorabilia as well as their past. The film includes a time-bending one-shot 2 minute flashback moment where they reminisce and grief the lost days.
